Clay, friend of victim-  White male, 20's-30's.  Working knowledge of stringed instruments preferred.  Cellist.  Will fake playing cello.  $100/day

Laura- White female, dark hair.  Must be a ballerina with experience.  Rate will be based on scene count.  TBD

1. JANET (50s to 60s, female, any ethnicity)
Blake’s mother. A woman of faith whose deep religious convictions have
isolated her from her daughter. Stern and proud, yet her rigidity hides
profound fear and love. As her health fades, her beliefs clash with her
humanity, leading to moments of raw vulnerability and regret.
Character Notes: A layered performance, must balance moral conviction,
guilt, and love; ability to transition from coldness to emotional honesty.

2. AMANDA (early 20s, female, any ethnicity)
Blake’s partner. Grounded, calm, and fiercely compassionate. Amanda
embodies truth and resilience, standing up for love even in uncomfortable
moments. Though she appears composed, her emotional intelligence and
vulnerability drive the story’s most powerful exchange.
Character Notes: The actor should be comfortable with emotionally charged
dialogue and stillness; strong presence with understated delivery.

3. BLAKE (early 20s, female, any ethnicity)
A quiet strength lies beneath her exhaustion. Blake is tender, loyal, and deeply
empathetic β€” a young woman torn between her love for her mother and her
loyalty to her partner. She carries the emotional weight of peacekeeping and
the pain of never being fully accepted.

A calm, professional doctor who delivers the film’s opening exposition. Brief
role but sets the emotional tone of the scene.
