NETFLIX KIDS SHOW FILMING IN ATLANTA

A new kids project for Netflix is now casting in Atlanta.
Filming scheduled for May 6.
This is a non-union shoot offering a session rate of $750 and a $2,500 buyout. Travel will not be provided, so talent must be local to the Atlanta area or able to work as a local hire.
Casting young children with genuine personalities who feel comfortable on camera. The production is looking for real kid energy, including natural smiles, curiosity, and a sense of spontaneity. Parents may also be included as background talent, although that is not required.
All roles are open to children of any race or ethnicity.

Joe shows up for his aging father out of duty rather than affection — the closeness was never really there, and he stopped expecting it. Exhausted by the constant chaos but functional, he carries the film through dry humor, restraint, and quiet emotional honesty. The role lives in reaction. We need an actor who can be very still, very tired, and very funny all at once.

Joe’s unlikely bar companion and fellow traveler. Brad manages his own father’s chaos with dark humor and a bartender’s instinct to pour first, process later. Lively, expressive, charming, magnetic. Probably works in sales for a fertilizer company and is loved by his customers. Big personality, big comedic chops. The engine of the script’s biggest scene.

Strong character actor who can do enormous work with grunts, scowls, and minimal dialogue, and make pure stubborn refusal feel both funny and human.

DISNEY SEEKING TEENS FOR SALTWATER PROJECT

Audition for a Disney TV show:
Casting directors for a Disney project using the working title “Saltwater” are holding a global search for talented teens. The auditions are being done online and parents interested in getting their teen seen by a Disney casting director may upload a self-tape audition.
The roles are seeking teens who can play 14 to 15 years old with both male & female character roles listed.
This project seems to be part of the Discovers Youth Initiative and being handled by Simkin/Sitowitz Casting. Simkin’s credits include projects such as the Star Trek movies, Avatar and more.
Disney accepting self-tapes from parents until the end of the Month with auditions closed on May 1st.
