Project Description: PROOF OF CONCEPT
This is a non-union mini-series that will be submitted and pitched to major networks. Production is only filming the proof-of-concept at the moment.
Logline: After witnessing his father’s murder, a troubled teen becomes entangled in a web of crime and danger as he seeks vengeance, leading him down a perilous path of secrets, grudges, and deception.
Role: Shy (16–20-year-old African American male)
Shy, a remarkably resilient and bright African American 12-year-old, finds himself shouldering the immense burden of an unforgiving world that seems determined to test his limits. The absence of his father and the tumultuous presence of his mother’s addiction created a void in Shy’s life, forcing him to mature at a young age. He had to navigate the complexities of his mother’s choices, witnessing firsthand how her concern revolved primarily around money rather than his well-being. The boyfriend she brought into their lives added an additional layer of torment, subjecting Shy to abuse that further tested his resilience. That’s why Shy showcases remarkable courage and determination under immense pressure.
As Shy grapples with the heart-wrenching loss of his father, he is confronted with the daunting reality of his drug-addicted mother and the reality of life. Shy’s journey is one of transformation, shaped by the hardships he has endured. He possesses an unwavering determination to rise above adversity, refusing to be defined by his circumstances. With a tenacity that belies his tender age, Shy clings to the belief that he has the power to shape his own destiny, no matter how daunting the obstacles may be.

“Forgotten Echoes,” a horror short film that follows Alison and Riley on their way home from a camping trip. Unwittingly, a shape-shifting creature stalks them.

Riley – (18 -35, Male or Female)(Lead) Alison’s best friend. She has the personality of a leader. Riley is also the form that the creature takes.
