Voice Part Description
ALL PARTS MUST HAVE HARMONY EXPERIENCE
SOPRANO – Range between Low C and High F – Must have strong Pop solo capabilities. Blending and pitch are key. Most arrangements stay below a D, but some will go up to an F. Feel free to show us the range of your capabilities in your solo song selections, i.e. mix, riff, belt, etc.
ALTO – Range between Low A and High D – Must have strong solo capabilities as well as part work. Chest belt a plus. Looking for a deep, rich tone. Feel free to show us the range of your capabilities in your solo song selections, i.e. low notes, riff, belt, etc.
TENOR – Range between Low F and High C (High F belted) – Must have strong Pop solo capabilities. Seeking strong vocalists that can also blend when need be. Most arrangements stay at an F or below, but some will go up to a C (not expected to belt). Please submit something that shows off any riffing, or strong belting.
BASS –Range between Low E and Middle C. Please submit a video showing your solo voice and vocal range (even scales are fine, we want to hear your tone on the low end.)
VOCAL PERCUSSIONIST – Seeking strong vocal percussionist. Boots and cats aren’t gonna cut it. These arrangements are percussion heavy, and the vocal percussionist has very little singing (if you aren’t a singer that is fine, as any VP vocal part is just filler). Please send videos of you showing off your various grooves and beatboxing along to any song where you can show off underneath it while keeping tempo. Grooves and keeping tempo are what we are looking for.
