Storyline: Norfolk, VA 1969. Cuban immigrant and motel housekeeper, Dahlia, struggles to raise her four young children, while her husband Valerio serves in the Navy. After she finds out she is pregnant yet again, she is forced to decide how she wants to proceed with pregnancy and how to tell her husband before he leaves on tour again.

He feels increasingly isolated and alone. Tired of all of the moves and not fitting in. A budding filmmaker whose favorite escape is to the local movie theater.

First generation American and a military brat. The eldest child of the family. A mini version of her mother. Mature. Knows the routine, and doesn’t need to be asked. Catalina is in the beginning of her adolescence and wants time to have fun. In her spare time, she loves to socialize and ride bikes with her friends. Loves her siblings.

First generation American and a military brat. The baby of the family and the apple of her father’s eye. Adorable, innocent, and happy-go-lucky. Caridad goes with the flow, she doesn’t feel the chaos.

[RICHARD JOHNSON] Black or Biracial man, mid to late 30s. Charming and attractive, though is threatened by his wife Margaret’s sense of self and her family’s wealth. Richard took Margaret’s last name because of her father’s reputation and did not realize that decision would make him feel so emasculated. Wants nothing more than kids of his own. An insecure opportunist, who thinks with his other head. Richard believes he is living the Mad Men life, but really, he’s riding coattails. Has a hint of a Southern accent.
MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH: Consuming gelatin. Wearing light prosthetics (latex and other special effects makeup), and fake blood. Passes out while falling to knees. Stunt experience is a plus.

The hit series will bring its casting team to Nashville during CMA Fest on June 5, 2026.
The show will be meeting with performers face-to-face and giving hopeful contestants the opportunity to showcase their talent with nothing more than their voice and stage presence.
American Idol remains one of television’s most successful singing competitions, launching the careers of stars such as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Adam Lambert. Netflix is searching for innovative kids to compete in a reality competition show.
A brand new competition series is searching nationwide for inventive kids who love to build, experiment, and solve problems.
A new Netflix show titled “Schooled!” is currently casting bright young minds between the ages of 9 and 17 to compete in an exciting STEM-focused competition.
The upcoming series will stream on Netflix and will challenge teams of young innovators to put their creativity, engineering skills, and problem-solving abilities to the test.
What abilities?
Below are a few examples and they are seeking kids who can create creative solutions for common kid stuff.
- Turn off the lights once they get into bed
- Feed their pet
- Protect their room from sibling intruders
- Make their breakfast
- Clean up their room
The competition is looking for curious kids who enjoy building things, experimenting with science, coding, robotics, and hands-on projects.
Casting directors are especially interested in creative thinkers and enthusiastic problem solvers who are excited about technology and engineering.
Participants will compete in teams of two, though kids may apply either individually or with a partner. Teams can include classmates, friends, siblings, members of the same STEM program, or other collaborators who enjoy working together on creative projects.
Parents or guardians must apply on behalf of their children, and parental consent and involvement are required for all participants.

Casting directors for a Disney project using the working title “Saltwater” are holding a global search for talented teens. The auditions are being done online and parents interested in getting their teen seen by a Disney casting director may upload a self-tape audition.
The roles are seeking teens who can play 14 to 15 years old with both male & female character roles listed.
This project seems to be part of the Discovers Youth Initiative and being handled by Simkin/Sitowitz Casting. Simkin’s credits include projects such as the Star Trek movies, Avatar and more.
